Layouts

Every medium has its own attitude. Whenever I start a design, I first consider the medium how the medium is used. Mind the gutter in print, forget the logo on social, and think vertical for video (watch out for that safe space). The elements will be consistent, but the way they’re delivered can, and should, be geared for the audience and platform.

“Anders has a keen eye for design and aesthetics, a skill not all marketing professionals possess.”

Logos & Branding

High-end wedding videos needed a brand that felt the same, so I created a color palette and typography toolkit that felt elegant and timeless for Anders Erik Films. I designed the logo with the same intent, clearly differentiating it in the space while at the same time creating the feeling that you’ve known it forever.

For the wedding venue Echo Valley, I got to know the brand the only way you can, by driving three hours into the deeply wooded north and sitting beneath the charming pines myself. I designed the logo with two trees holding branches to create a hidden heart that takes center stage underneath the stars.

Wraps & Beyond

A fun way to keep employees cool called for a fun design. I designed the front and back of this ice cream cart with stripes that pay homage to ice cream trucks of the past, and matched that classically cool vibe with a vintage Andersen logo. It’s all topped off with sprinkles, which are actually orange triangles from the current Andersen logo.

“Not only did Anders help out on the art front, he also helped me write content for my business, communicate with clients, and make strategic marketing decisions.”
